The 4.2 inch b/w e-paper display SE0420NQ04 has a big quality problem. After a longer use time with contignously partial fast refresh the display lost the contrast and is not usable for this use case. I used the sample code from the manufacturer. After any days in use the display has a unreversible burning in effect. Areas with partial refresh are yellow-brown. I think the display is only usable for static display functions with very few updates over a longer time. For dynamical applications with many update is it not usable.

Actually the module SE0420NQ04 has been used in many end devices/finished products from our customers for a long time, we have not received the quality issue like this. We have taken a video for same module number that shows displaying normally to this customer for reference. In addition, we are helping this customer checking the driver code that this customer are using. We are working on clearing up the misunderstanding between us.
